While the plasticy body of the Lumia 640 is not brag worthy, it feels like a hands on phone that offers decent viewing angles besides a bright display. The 5-incher screen is mediocre but its IPS LCD grade ups the quality to a slight extent. The exclusive Clear Black technology for the makes it easy to adjust to the average resolution.  Moving on to the camera just 8 MP under the main hood is not great news but once you recall the price, it is consoling. Lumia 640 surprises us with an anti-glare and sunlight viewing specs but we wish it could less clumsy. Moreover the battery is a letdown at 2500 mAh. On a positive side though, the 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor makes booting and tasks on the Lumia 640 breezy. Finally, the OS on this Lumia model is Windows Phone 8.1.2. We are impressed but if you want more from this Lumia 640 line up, wait for the magical Lumia 640 XL.
