Change the News and Interests Language Feed
To get started, open the News and Interests widget by clicking or hovering over the weather button on the taskbar.
Next, click on the Manage Interests link at the upper-right corner of the widget.
That will open Microsoft Edge to the “Discover Interests” settings section of the personalization section for the News and Interests widget. From that page, click on the Experience Settings link at the top of the page. Then under the Language & content section, select the language you want to use for the feed from the dropdown menu.
After selecting the language you want to use, launch the News and Interests widget from the taskbar and click the Refresh feed button. It’s at the upper-right corner of the widget.
That’s all there is to it. Now the language you selected will be the default for the News and Interests feed. For example, here I selected the German language.
It’s also worth noting that you can get to the Language and content section easier by launching the widget. Then next to the “Manage Interests” section, click the Settings button (three dots). Then scroll down and click on “Language and content.”
That’s all there is to it. Changing the language for the News and Interest feed is a piece of cake if you know what to look for. On the other hand, if you aren’t a fan of the new widget, you can get rid of it. Check out our article on how to disable the news and interests widget on the Windows 10 taskbar.
