The Gucci x Oura ring is made from black physical vapour deposition (PVD) coated titanium. This ring is so light weighted that it only weighs four grams and is 0.3 inches in thickness. Interestingly, the ring features a rechargeable battery that can last up to four to seven days on a single charge. A charger comes along the ring which comes in Gucci-inspired packing. Also, the ring is water-resistant up to 100 meters.
Features of Gucci x Oura ring
The ring is a unique combination of fashion and healthcare which is equipped with the latest Oura Gen3 technology. It can measure the temperature, heart rate, movement, respiratory rate, and sleeping pattern of the wearer. The ring comes with seven temperature sensors along with three LED sensors. This unique smart ring also includes some other features like guided and unguided audio sessions and personal insights. Gucci says that the wearable technology ring can unlock a unique perspective given by secreted messages from the body which further empowers individuals to connect to themselves throughout the entire day via wellness insights. The ring is priced at $950 (RS.73,632.60). The smart ring comes along with a lifetime membership that is available from the moment the ring is paired with the Oura app. The validity of the membership is till the customer keeps the same active account. Oura confirmed that the people owning Gen2 and Gen3 Ring cannot exchange them for the new ring. However, they can save the data on Oura Gen2 and Gen3 before they start using the Gucci x Oura Ring.
How to buy this smart ring?
Before buying the ring, one has to consult the size guide on Gucci’s official stores or official website. This is because it varies from Oura’s general sizing information. As of now, the ring is available only at Gucci.com and select Gucci stores. Not really sure if they will collaborate on any upcoming gadget, device, or product.
