The super popular battle royale game was first rumoured for a launch in 2020. However, the developers weren’t able to get an official clearance from the government at that point. However, according to a report issued last month, it was said that the Centre has finally granted permission to release the game in the country. The new Battlegrounds Mobile India is expected to feature customised in-game content to match up with the “local needs”. PUBG Mobile India game is expected to come with some modifications such as reduced gore and violence, clothed characters and more. The new changes will cover clothing on new characters, green hit effects instead of red, and a virtual simulation training ground setting.

The developers of PUBG Mobile are soon expected to announce the official Battlegrounds Mobile India release date. It is also being said that Krafton along with PUBG Corporation are planning to make investments to the tune of $100 million in India to “cultivate the local video game, e-sports, entertainment, and IT industries.
